Rosheen McGuckian

Rosheen McGuckian

CEO, NTR

Speaker bio

Rosheen was appointed Chief Executive Officer of NTR plc in April 2013. Under her leadership, NTR has successfully launched three funds in the European energy transition sector and today NTR manages over 50 renewable energy projects (close to 1GW), across seven European countries.

Prior to joining NTR, Rosheen was CEO of GE Money Ireland, the consumer finance division of General Electric. Prior to that, Rosheen led the business transformation initiative for Irish utility ESB Power Generation. Rosheen is a Director of Grafton Group plc and construction group Sisk.

Rosheen was recently voted as one of the Top 25 in the Global Women’s Power List and Top 50 in the Global Green Fund Power List. She holds a PhD and MA from Dublin City University, and BSc from Trinity College Dublin.

AIB has appointed Cathy Bryce as Managing Director of Corporate, Institutional and Business Banking, succeeding Colin Hunt who was recently appointed as Group CEO. Cathy will join the Executive Committee in the coming months.

Cathy joins from the National Treasury Management Agency where she held the position of Director, National Development Finance Agency and NewERA. Prior to that she was AIB’s Head of Syndicated & International Finance where she had over 20 years’ experience in various capital markets roles. Prior to AIB, Cathy worked in investment banking in London with Morgan Stanley and corporate finance in Dublin with Riada / ABN AMRO. She is a business graduate of Trinity College Dublin and holds an MBA from INSEAD in France.

TD - Minister for Finance

Michael McGrath is a TD for Cork South Central and is currently the Minister for Finance in the Government of Ireland. He previously served as Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform from 2020 to 2022.

As Minister for Finance, Michael is responsible for leading the Department in the achievement of the government’s economic, fiscal and financial policy goals, having regard to the Programme for Government. Minister McGrath is a Governor of a number of international bodies that Ireland is a member of, including the European Investment Bank, the IMF, the World Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The Minister for Finance has a key role in decisions made across government, and is Ireland’s representative at the Eurogroup and Ecofin meetings of European Finance Ministers.

Prior to joining the Dublin Chamber, Mary Rose held the position of Director of Corporate, Strategic and International Affairs for Ibec since 2013 having moved from the position of Director of Pharmacy at Boots Ireland which she held for 8 years. Prior to joining Boots Mary Rose worked at the HSE, and previously established and managed her own business. She has also been a council member of Chambers Ireland and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. Mary Rose is a pharmacist and Council member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and is a member of the Board of Directors for Bord na Mona and is Chair of the Board of Directors of the NMH Foundation.

Stephen O’Leary is the founder of Olytico, Ireland’s leading social media analysis company. As well as an Irish and international client list, research and analysis carried out by Olytico has been published by major national and international media outlets including RTE, The Irish Times, The BBC and The Washington Post. Stephen is a World Economic Forum Young Global Shaper and serves on the Boards of Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Anu Productions. He is a highly regarded conference speaker having addressed audiences at events including the Sport and New Media Conference in Paris, Web Summit, DMX, and The Dublin Tech Summit. Stephen is a Fellow of Griffith College Dublin, where he lectured in Online Journalism.
