Anonymity in Engage is configurable per survey, not a blanket setting. You control it at the survey level, and it's backed by a minimum response threshold that prevents results from surfacing when a group is too small for answers to remain unidentifiable.

Specifically:

  • Anonymous response processing strips identifying metadata before results are visible to admins
  • A minimum threshold means surveys with fewer responses than your set limit won't display individual-level data, protecting team members in smaller departments or locations

This means HR gets honest feedback at scale, and workers in smaller teams don't self-censor because they're worried about being identified.

The survey builder covers the full range of survey types most HR teams need, without requiring a separate tool for each:

  • Question types: Single choice, multiple choice, open-ended, rating, and eNPS, all configurable within one survey
  • Structure: Multi-section surveys with question categories, so results can be analysed by theme rather than just question-by-question
  • Question library: Pre-built questions organized by category that reduce setup from hours to minutes, or write your own from scratch
  • Anonymity controls: Set per survey, with minimum threshold protection for smaller teams

Results feed into per-survey analytics: participation rate, per-question breakdowns, heatmap view filterable by org structure, gender, and tenure, and trend views comparing results across time periods.
