An Employer of Record (EOR) is a legal structure that lets you hire full-time employees in countries where you don’t have a legal entity. In APAC, this means Deel becomes the official employer for your hire — handling contracts, registration, payroll, and local compliance — while you manage their day-to-day work. This setup gives you legal coverage without the complexity of company formation.

How is Employer of Record different from setting up my own entity?
