Role-based rules, policies, calendars and approval chains still apply. That means what you do in chat is the same as doing it in Deel.
Is it secure and compliant?
Yes. Data travels over encrypted connections and lives in Deel. Slack and Teams act as a window, not a database. Because the Deel Plugin uses your existing Deel policies, requests follow the same country-specific rules, holidays, and approval logic you’ve already set.
How does this differ from a basic integration?
Most integrations are one-way notifications: you get a ping in Slack, but need to go into the platform and complete the action. The requester may not be notified in the same thread.
