Is there a minimum number of employees or contractors required?
There are no onboarding minimums for EOR & contractors. For Payroll, you need to have 10 employees in each country you want Deel to run payroll in.
Are there any onboarding or setup fees?
For contractors, there are no onboarding or setup fees. For EOR, we require a refundable deposit. For Global Payroll, there’s an onboarding fee for each employee, equal to the monthly cost per head. There are no other setup fees.

Why is EOR more expensive than hiring a contractor?
Hiring and managing a full-time employee is more complex and expensive than a contractor.
There are three main differences between hiring a full time employee and hiring a contractor:
1. To hire an employee you need a local entity, while to hire a contractor you don’t.
2. Contractors don’t receive employee benefits and handle their own taxes.
3. Employees work with you for long periods of time while contractors work is more project-based and short-term.
In the case of EOR, Deel allows you to quickly hire a full-time employee anywhere in the world without setting up a legal entity. The service is more expensive because Deel takes care of everything from hiring, onboarding, and HR admin, so you are fully compliant to hire everywhere.
Do you offer discounts at a certain hiring?
Yes, depending on the scale. This can be discussed directly with your Account Executive.
Which countries can I engage talent in? Does price vary by country?

How much does Global Payroll cost?
We tier pricing based on the country and the number of employees you have based on location. However, our pricing model is simple and predictable, with no hidden costs or surprises.
What kind of support comes with Global Payroll?
Each customer receives a dedicated Customer Success Manager and access to 24/7 in-app support in 13 different languages.
What’s the difference between the EOR model and the Global Payroll model?
The main difference is how the employee is hired.
In the EOR model you typically hire employees in countries where you don’t want to establish entities, so you would hire them through Deel’s EOR and we ‘ll handle the payroll, benefits and taxes.
In the Global Payroll model, you have your own established entities so you don’t need help to hire employees, but just to offload the cost and hassle of managing your own employees’ payroll, benefits, and taxes.
