Deel is partnering with the U.S. Commercial Service, the export promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, to co-host a webinar that helps American companies unlock international growth opportunities. The U.S. Small Business Administration will also participate in the event.

Congressman Williams represents Texas’s 25th Congressional District and serves as Chairman of the House Small Business Committee. A former professional baseball player, small business owner, and Texas Secretary of State, he brings decades of real-world business experience to Congress.

Gabriela Zelaya

Northern California Director for the U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Department of Commerce

Gabriela supports U.S. businesses by leveraging the network of U.S. and overseas offices of the U.S. Export Assistance Centers. Gabriela was honored as Silicon Valley’s “40 under 40” recognizing her as an up-and-coming leader in Silicon Valley for her leadership, community work, and impact in her respective field.

Miguel Peñaloza

Finance Manager, Office of Manufacturing and Trade, U.S. Small Business Administration

Miguel supports small businesses and lenders which engage with SBA’s three core export loan programs as well as the recently launched Working Capital (Pilot) Program. Prior to joining the SBA, Miguel worked as a Loan Specialist with the U.S. Export-Import Bank (EXIM) as well as a Membership Manager with the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). His background in lending provides a unique understanding of the financing needs for small business exporters.

Suze Dowling

Chief Business Officer, Co-founder at Pattern

Suze Dowling, known to many as a startup whisperer, is a founder, brand-builder, investor, and DTC operator. At Pattern, she she focuses on acquiring, integrating, and scaling sustainable, DTC-first businesses.

Throughout her time in public service, Heitkamp has stood up for Native American children; fought for working families; worked to stop human trafficking; pushed for affordable health care; helped address the detrimental impact exposure to trauma can have on children; helped craft and pass meaningful bank reform and fought for a true all-of-the-above energy strategy.
