Dan Westgarth is Chief Operating Officer at Deel, the global payroll, HR, and compliance platform supporting global teams in over 150 countries. As COO, Dan leads Deel’s global operations, including onboarding, customer success, payroll operations, compliance, and enterprise delivery, with a focus on scale, efficiency, and customer experience. Dan has played a central role in scaling the company through rapid growth and multiple acquisitions, building operational rigor across complex global workflows, and driving large-scale transformation across people, process, and technology. He is deeply involved in supporting Deel’s largest customers and strategic partners, ensuring reliability at scale across payroll and employment infrastructure. The company has grown to 7,000+ team members worldwide in 100+ countries and has raised more than $1billion in funding. Before Deel, Dan held senior leadership roles at Revolut, with a focus on global operations, go-to-market execution, and scaling international teams. Outside of his day-to-day work at Deel, Dan makes early-stage investments in technology companies and helps them scale.
