Most people manage money across more than one bank account. A dedicated account for bills. A separate one for savings. Maybe a third for everyday spending. The logic is sound—the execution, less so. When your salary lands in one place, splitting it up manually takes time, discipline, and more than a few reminders to actually move the money.
Deel removes that friction entirely. Employees paid through Deel can now split their salary across up to five bank accounts automatically—setting their own allocation once and letting every paycheck follow the same rules, every cycle. No manual transfers. No forgotten savings contributions. Just your pay, distributed exactly the way you want it. For employers, it's a tangible quality-of-life benefit that costs nothing extra to offer—and signals that your organization takes the employee experience seriously, right down to how people receive their pay.
Every paycheck, distributed exactly how you want it—automatically
The feature is straightforward by design. Employees can allocate their pay as a percentage across up to five bank accounts—for example, 40% to a bills account, 30% to savings, and 30% to everyday spending. Once it's set up, the split applies automatically to every payroll cycle, including off-cycle payments and expense reimbursements processed through Deel.
The minimum allocation per account is 1%, and employees can update their distribution at any time. Changes take effect from the next available payroll cycle, and Deel shows exactly when those updates will kick in,so there's no guesswork about timing. One important detail: for best results, bank accounts should be in the same currency as the contract. This helps avoid delays and unnecessary conversion fees.
See the difference on payday
Consider an employee who uses three accounts: one for fixed monthly bills, one for long-term savings, and one they use day-to-day. With Deel, they set their preferred split once—say, 35% to bills, 15% to savings, 50% to spending—and every payday, the money arrives right where it belongs. No transfers, no tracking, no thinking about it.

For teams spread across different countries and time zones, this kind of financial control matters. It has a real impact on how employees feel about getting paid.
Give every employee more financial flexibility
Salary distribution is available to employees across Deel's major employment models: EOR, Global Payroll, Deel Payroll US, and PEO. Employers can enable the feature at the entity level, including the option to allow fixed-amount distributions in addition to percentage-based splits.
Salary Splits is one part of a broader set of financial tools embedded into Deel. Employees can also access Anytime Pay, which gives them a fee-free, on-demand access to a portion of their earned pay before payday. Whether it's an unexpected car repair, a medical bill, or just smarter financial planning, people sometimes need access to what they've already earned before the end of the month.
Together, these features give employees more control over when and how they access their earnings, while keeping things simple for HR and Finance.
