Deel Introduces the Newest Members of Its Leadership Team

As we continue to scale our business, we are consistently evolving our leadership team to provide the best possible user and company experience. With that, we are excited to share our recent additions to Deel’s leadership team as we optimize the way international teams function and radically simplify global work.

Chief Risk Officer

Harish Sharma joins us this month as our Chief Risk Officer. Harish has over two decades of experience in leading Global Banks and Fintechs, most recently having served as Chief Risk Officer at Pagaya. Harish has built and managed large global risk organizations in his previous roles as Managing Director and Head of Model Risk - Consumer, Small Business, Wealth & Investment Management at Bank of America as well as EVP, Chief Model Risk Officer at HSBC North America.

At Deel, he will lead teams in assessing and mitigating organizational risks. Harish’s focus will be to strengthen Deel’s approach to risk management by adding additional rigor and excellence to how we manage risk as we drive scalable growth and foster innovation.

Vice President of Operations

Carlos Santovena joined as Vice President of Operations earlier this year. Carlos leads global operations across 3,000+ employees, 11 verticals, and 100+ countries including Fintech, Expansion, Payroll, HR, Immigration, FinCrime, Benefits, and Support. Carlos brings over a decade of international experience scaling high-growth businesses and managing complex operational functions. Prior to Deel, he spent seven years at Revolut as Group Partner and Director of Operations, where he drove global customer experience and operational excellence as the company scaled from under 1 million to over 50 million users. He began his career in the Oil & Gas sector, leading large-scale technical projects across multiple regions.

At Deel, Carlos is focused on scaling operations, driving automation, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Head of Enterprise Sales, Global Immigration Sales, and Global Whitelabel Sales

Adam Estoclet has been promoted to Head of Enterprise Sales, Global Immigration Sales, and Global Whitelabel Sales after almost two years at Deel. Adam joined Deel as Senior Director of Enterprise Sales in the Americas after his role as Director of Enterprise Sales at Twilio. He now leads Deel’s Enterprise teams in North and South America as well as our Global Visa/Immigration and Whitelabel GTM.
