Overtime Pay & Maximum Hours
Die Standardarbeitszeit besteht aus 8 Stunden pro Tag, ohne eine einstündige Mittagspause, und umfasst insgesamt 40 Stunden pro Woche von Montag bis Freitag. Zusätzlich kann es eine erweiterte Arbeitszeit von 44 Stunden geben, die Montag bis Freitag mit einem 8-Stunden-Arbeitstag plus einer 1-stündigen Mittagspause (nicht als Arbeitszeit gerechnet) und Samstag von 8:00 Uhr bis 12:00 Uhr umfasst.
Überstundenvergütung ist verpflichtend. Stunden außerhalb der Standardarbeitszeit gelten als Überstunden. Mitarbeitende können maximal 4 Stunden Überstunden pro Woche leisten. Für zusätzliche Stunden werden folgende Sätze gezahlt:
Tagesschichtsatz: 200% des regulären Stundensatzes.
Nächtlicher Zuschlag: zusätzlich 25% auf den regulären Satz.
Gesetzliche Feiertage: Werden als Überstunden behandelt und mit 400% des regulären Stundensatzes vergütet.
