Key takeaways
- Based on a company-wide vote, Deel is directing $145,000 to two mission-connected nonprofits: Talent Beyond Boundaries and Technovation.
- Both causes reflect what Deel does every day: helping people work across borders and building the skills for the future of work.
- Beyond the donation, Deelers are giving their own time as volunteers and competition judges with both organizations.
- For the second year, Deel Impact put the decision in our team's hands, and this year 75% of Deelers voted, up from 40%.
Putting the decision in our team's hands
Last year we launched Deel Impact with a simple idea. Use Deel's global scale to make a positive difference, and let the people who make Deel what it is help decide how. Deel Impact is how we turn our global scale into meaningful action, across the communities we serve, our own team, and the environment.
This year we did it again, and our team showed up like never before. 75% of Deelers cast a vote, nearly double last year's participation. That number is the one we're proudest of, because it says something a donation alone can't. When people feel real ownership over a decision, they show up for it.
Making it easy helped. We ran the campaign through Deel Engage, our own talent management platform, so voting took seconds and reached every Deeler wherever they work. But the tool only opened the door. Three out of four Deelers chose to walk through it, and that choice is what makes this campaign theirs.
Where our team directed the funds
Based on the vote, Deel is directing $145,000 to two nonprofits that connect directly to our mission.
Talent Beyond Boundaries helps skilled refugees safely and legally migrate to countries where they can work and rebuild their lives. It's a mission that mirrors our own belief that opportunity shouldn't stop at a border, and it's work we see up close, since Talent Beyond Boundaries is also a Deel customer.
Skill and ambition are universal, but access to opportunity is not. Support from Deel is helping TBB rewrite the narrative of displacement - making it possible for refugees to move for work, rebuild their lives, and enrich the global workforce. TBB is proud to partner with a team that shares our conviction that talent belongs wherever it can thrive.

Technovation equips young people with AI and technology skills and challenges them to build real ventures that solve problems in their communities. As the future of work becomes inseparable from AI fluency, few causes feel more aligned with where global work is heading.
Solving real problems produces a different kind of entrepreneur. Our participants become experts at research, collaboration, user feedback, and perseverance while learning how to build with AI ethically. Having a company like Deel, whose whole business is the future of work, invest time and resources in Technovation helps our young innovators take on planet-sized problems!

Chief Learning and Innovation Officer at Technovation
Beyond the donation
The giving campaign is only part of the story. Dozens of Deelers signed up to give their own time, from supporting Talent Beyond Boundaries' work with displaced candidates to serving as judges for Technovation's global AI competitions.
That second piece brought the work full circle for us. Just weeks earlier, Deel ran its own global pitch competition for founders. Turning around to judge young builders pitching AI ventures felt like a natural extension of what we already do.
The road ahead
This campaign is one milestone in a bigger year for Deel Impact, with more partnerships and programs still to come. Each one builds on the same belief that shaped this vote: opportunity should reach people wherever they are.
Deel Impact is a long-term commitment to grow in ways that are sustainable, inclusive, and aligned with our global mission. We'll keep prioritizing transparency, authenticity, and meaningful contributions to the communities we serve, and we'll keep giving our team a say in the work.
A platform built to support global work is best when it works for the global good. Let's keep building, together.
